Vi har mycket snö ("neige" på franska, "lumi" på finska) ännu.
Vörå är en kommun i Finland, på västkusten. Närmaste stad norr om Vörå heter Nykarleby.
Vörå is situated north of the town Vasa (swedish spelling) / Vaasa (finnish spelling) and Kyro älv (Kyrönjoki). The town Nykarleby is by the river Nykarleby älven at the west coast of Finland.
In this map above the roadsign for Vasa is turned the wrong way. Umeå is in Sweden, Vasa in Finland. Finland and Sweden was once one kingdom. After 1809 Finland belonged more than a century to Russia, but is now an independent country. But also part of the EU, the European Union. In Sweden the money is krona (if you have only one coin), kronor, (if you have many) in Finland we pay with euros.
I wonder if the word "neige" is maskulinium or femininium.
I looked it up: La neige. (femininum)
Brother in swedish is broder or bror, if you are lucky enough to have more than one you can say "bröder."
"I have bread" in swedish you say like this: Jag har bröd.
If you also have butter and cheese on your bread, just eat it quickly.
😁
We will timetravel some more here I hope. I made a Viking woman costume after we have seen in Netflix Gustaf Skarsgård in "CURSED".
He plays Merlin, the wizard. We also have a book about king Arthur, was he a legend, (saga) or a historical person. What do you think?
I will give you the title of the book later, maybe the day after tomorrow.
In swedish timetravelling is used by history teachers as a teaching method. They say: "Vi tidsreser".
Then they mean the whole group in the classroom should try to learn more about a certain period.
I find the Viking period really interesting, but according to "Cursed" it was also a very violent period.
In "Cursed" a young actress has the sword of king Arthur, she is together with her two female friends looking for adventure. They go horseback riding together in beautiful forests and landscapes. In the last episode she learned that Merlin is her father...
I think many scenes could be filmed here in Vörå. Because we also have archipelago, and hills, beautiful forests, lakes large and small and fields.
I am waiting for the snow to melt so we can start spring season planting and preparing for the grains for autumn harvest.
Bread is good in the mornings.
"Bra med smörgås på morgonen" is what you can say in swedish.
Tack vare "jordgubbarna" the farmers here around, (bönderna)
I can get both milk, strawberries and cookies...
